We introduce trends for filaments based on data we have collected. We are excited to give these insights monthly.
eSUN’s solution to the problem of complex print designs is a water-soluble PVA support material called eSoluble
PLA Premium is a tough, easy-to-use thermoplastic ideal for 3D printing. Our Premium range has been improved to be less brittle than a standard PLA while retaining its characteristics.
Pro PLA has higher impact strength than ABS and PLA with a heat resistance rivaling that of ABS!
NylonX is an amazing, reinforced nylon filament. By adding micro-carbon fibers to nylon, you get a tough filament capable of printing parts with stiffness, impact resistance, and high tensile strength.
GROWLAY is intended for use with an FDM/FFF 3D printer, and once a design is fabricated the material’s unusual properties can be harnessed. GROWLAY filament can be used as a base for growing plants and other organic matter. By adding water to your 3D print, spores, seeds or even cheese mold can be encouraged to take hold and cover the print.
This PLA-based filament offers enhanced possibilities for industrial applications. The thermal stability of objects printed with Philament Engineering is extremely high, they could bear up to 140 °C heat, without any heat treatment after printing.
The automotive industry has not taken on a greater percentage of filament based 3D Printing due to the lack of a material that meets temperature and “cold flow” requirements. Creep/cold flow or the ability of a material to hold up to the constant temperature cycles of an automobile is a primary requirement.
The Aerospace Industry, like the automotive industry has not taken on a greater percentage of filament based 3D Printing due to the lack of a material that meets temperature and fire retardant requirements. The Aerospace Industry typically specifies a high strength and fire retardant material for several applications.
Alloy 960CF will support the automotive industry as well as those that need an extremely hard yet durable material. Alloy 960CF was developed to support large to extremely large parts where shrinkage or warping would otherwise be an issue.
Our PETG is a thermoplastic copolyester that unlike PET, it doesn’t cristallyze when it is heated up, so it is a resistant material with certain flexibility. Besides, it has great chemical resistance and transparency.
High Carbon Iron Filamet™ contains 80% metal, is fully sinterable and ferromagnetic. Great for use as a core for an electromagnet. Filamet™ enables any Fused Deposition Modeling printer to produce metal objects. Once fired in a sintering furnace, the result is 100% metal. High Carbon Iron Filamet™ is highly ferromagnetic both before and after sintering.
